When I started showing with TICA in 2002, one Maine Coon male, who dominated the European shows that year, caught my eye again and again. He was internationally very successful, and justifiably so: he was a
very handsome, charming boy, who delighted the judges with his affectionate temper. As his breeder stoped breeding soon after and as I did not meet his owner for a long time, I forgot about this wonderful boy. A fortiori
I was very surprised to hear in 2010 that Acadiapark Sherman was still producing kittens at his owners home in France, at the age of almost 10 years! I immediately contacted Elodie Foster to ask her about her
breeding plans with Sherman. Not only was I thrilled by the thought of having a kitten from Sherman, an offspring of such an old breeding cat -along with testing- also promises to minimize the risk of genetic
diseases. Elodie just had a litter of Sherman and beautiful Bewitched on the ground, and after many phone calls, e-mails and a visit to Paris Salem moved in with us!
Salem has purred herself into our hearts in no time. We are over the moon to have our little brown girl with us. Salem is just as cuddly as her dad. She has a wonderful expression and she will surely
have beautiful kittens with our Chev.
